Literally the internet in
dominating our daily life’s by helping us find information, share
information , communicate by social networks or emails to social buddies, work
buddies, employees, family or friends. Without any doubts the Internet is the fabric of our lives at this time. It’s no longer the “future”. Right now is our present.
The
increase in the uses of this technology has allowed us to improve our business,
our communications, our knowledge of other cultures, markets and events that
happens around the world also in our own countries.
From those who don’t know, Internet is a network of computer networks that can communicate between each other. There is something else. However, it is more than a technology.
From humble beginnings when it was

basic economy has change into the “new economy”. The essential point here is that the new
economy is the companies
that produce or design Internet is the companies that work with and through the Internet. That is the new economy, and
that is what is happening
around the world[1] (Escolar 2009). It’s important to highly that the
biggest uses of this tool have being in the Tech Industry but nowadays that
exclusivity has change; every company in the world no matter where is located
need to use this tool, not only as platform to promote their business also a
way to improve competitiveness. In the
other there is another concepts that draw our attention and that is
“E-Commerce” There is much talk about this
term: e-commerce, it has an interest, but it falls too much on the idea of selling e-commerce, the so-called B2C Business to Consumers, sales to consumers. This only represents 20% of all commercial electronic transactions on the
Internet. 80% are business-to business to business
relations and this is accentuated at this time
(B2B). That is, the volume is growing and therefore increasing the overall
volume, so does the number of transactions to consumers. The volume increases more in absolute and relative terms, is the business
to business relationship[2](Escolar 2009).
This event shouldn’t impact us for many
reasons, every day internet access become more affordable for more people
around the globe, therefore the number of people who is able to see products,
services, ads and all kind of information increases substantially day by day. Second, the
number of companies that uses this tool is also increasing because of the low
prices that this tool gives in comparison to other traditional way of
publicity. Nowadays if your company does not have a web page at least to show
you exist, if could be said, you don’t exist for half of the world population.
Undoubtedly internet changes our lives, the way we see the world,
the way we connect with the people, the way we share information, we share our
knowledge to our cyber buddies who are willing to read what you can say and
most important , the way we do business.
It’s important to understand and realize the ways this tool is
changing and how those changes in the tool could affect positively or
negatively our life, our environment, our business and our interaction to the
rest of the world. It’s important to
highlight how the E-commerce is gaining every day more ground in daily business
and how we can take advantages of it a use it for our own purpose.
